Cook County
Photocopy Company was founded in 1957 by John J. King Sr.
and his brother Edward, in the days when liquid chemicals
were used as well as special papers for different brands
of copiers. They based the business on supplying prompt
and efficient service. Good service was at a premium
then, just as it is today, and the small family-run
company grew while others failed during the change from
wet to dry chemicals in copy machines in the 1960's and
early 1970's. From the 1980's through today, Cook County
Photocopy continues to thrive with plain paper copiers
and fax machines. Now as we head into the millennium Cook
County Photocopy introduces digital copiers, and is expanding into other
office equipment such as printers and multifunctional machines.
John King Sr. three sons, John Jr.,
Michael and Edward are handling operations.
Today Cook
County Photocopy is the oldest
business of its kind in
the entire Chicagoland area. Still family owned and operated,
the precepts are the same - top quality service and
special attention to the needs of every copier user,
whether great or small.
