Fast Transmission Speeds

The LDC-870, with its 33.6 Kbps modem and ultra-efficient JBIG Compression method, can deliver your documents to their destination in less than 3 Seconds Per Page. The LDC-850 will do the job at a slightly more relaxed 6 Seconds Per Page. With transmission speeds this fast, you'll see a dramatic reduction in your facsimile phone bills. Combine fast transmission with the LDC-850/870 2 Seconds Per Page Quick Scan and eliminate long waits by the fax, plus Dual Access allows the LDC-850/870 to store documents into memory while printing a reception, or transmitting another document from memory - all of which adds up to increased productivity.

Efficient Paper Handling

Keep a full ream of paper on-line with the LDC-850/870 standard 500 sheet paper capacity. If you need more than that, you can add an additional 500 sheet cassette for a total paper capacity of 1,000 sheets from two sources, and have both Letter and Legal size paper on-line at the same time. If you do run out of paper, the LDC-850/870 Substitute Reception feature stores documents into memory until they can be printed, plus in the event of a power failure, battery backup ensures that you won't lose any information that is stored into memory.

User Friendly

The LDC-850-870 is designed to automate virtually every aspect of the fax process. One Touch and Abbreviated Dials make it easy to store fax numbers, then recall them at the touch of a button. Serial Broadcasting lets you transmit to a larger number of recipients with a single keystroke. Timer Transmissions save even more by allowing you to program the LDC-850/870 to send faxes when the phone rates are a their lowest. ITU-T Sub-Addressing automatically routes incoming faxes directly to s specified extension, manual routing is a thing of the past, and thanks to their logically constructed Control Panels, accessing any of the LDC-850/870 features is a snap!

Duplex Transmission and Reception

Many businesses produce information on two-sided copies; it saves paper, cuts down on filing space and is environmentally friendly. The LDC-850/870 Duplex Transmission feature allows you to quickly and easily send two-sided originals, eliminating the need to separate them into one-sided copies. The LDC-850/870 can also receive two-sided documents, reducing paper and filing costs.

Dual Line
